Developing Play Skills
The little girl with Downs has developed some pretty strong social and physical skills. She shows some understanding of football and has good running and tumbling skills. It may not seem much to the average viewer but she has developed these as "set of skills". She has a good sense of where her body is in space. As I get older and less steady I step off a curb and tumble forward for lack of perception any more.
